Up to 15 Month 0% Balance Transfer Platinum card - 0% balance transfer fee - Includes up to 6 months 0% on purchases
Credit Builder Cards
If you are looking for your first credit card, or have a limited credit history you want to build up the Forward Credit Card is a good option and comes with a credit limit of £50-£1,200 depending in your personal circumstances.
0% Purchase Cards
As mentioned above most of the Barclaycard balance transfer cards also include a 0% period for purchases too. The best offer currently being the up to 22 Month 0% Balance Transfer Platinum card - 2.98% balance transfer fee - Includes up to 24 months 0% purchases.
If you are making smaller purchases and expect to pay off the card balance in full each month you could also consider the rewards card.
The Barclaycard Rewards card is a cashback card that pays 0.35% cashback on your everyday spending. If you intend to pay the card off every month this card can be a good option to earn from your spending.

Which Card Is Right For Me?

If you are looking to transfer an existing debt you should consider which promotional offer is best for you, for instance, the longest 0% period charges the highest fee, so if you know you can pay it off in a shorter time it might save you money to consider a different card.
Who Can Apply For a Barclaycard?
Barclaycard specifies a few requirements in order to apply for a credit card with them.
For the 0% Balance Transfer and Purchase cards you will need to meet the following;
Aged over 21
Be in employment and earning over £20,000 per year
Have not been made bankrupt or had and IVAs or CCJs in the last 6 years
Have at least 4 years experience of managing credit
Had a permanent UK address for at least 2 years
Have always made payments on time
For the Forward Credit Card you will need to meet the following;
Aged over 18
Be in employment and earning over £3,000 per year
Have not been made bankrupt or subject to an IVA or Debt Relief order in the last 6 years
Have less than one outstanding CCJ in the last 6 years
Proof of address if you’ve recently moved house
Have not missed a bill payment recently
Remember meeting the above criteria does not guarantee acceptance and even if you are accepted you may not necessarily get the longest 0% duration.
